Fortunately, Steven Sills was more inspired when he designed these...

The precast concrete obelisks dot this Bedford NY residence, 

offering a subtle pop of color and leading the eye through the 

tiered landscape.

Additionally, in an inspired move the obelisk shape is repeated in the interior!

It's always a treat to work with designers on their houses.

We jumped at the opportunity to work with Paul Siskin again -

especially on his home "Brokeback Manor" in Hudson, New York. 

The existing concrete floor was in bad shape (as 

chronicled on his blog for ID mag)

 

The new diamond polished floor is pretty pretty if we may say so ourselves!
